The footage begins with the cameraman examining his pooch’s teeth in his room. In the background, a door hangs ajar but then something mysterious happens.
With no-one apparently either side of it, the door begins to close.
It then slams shut with a bang resulting in the poor dog jumping out of his skin.
The uploader, who goes by the name u/escoseason95, explained: “I was messing around with my dog (just us two were home) and my door did this.
“No open windows, my door doesn’t automatically close, and I can’t think of an explanation. Thoughts?”
It has received more than 400 upvotes since being posted earlier today and viewers were truly split on what could have caused it.
Many claimed it had to be evidence of paranormal activity.
“Yup definitely a ghost,” one wrote. “Even your dog noticed.
“I wonder what he did after that? Keep an eye on your dog and see if he barks or stares at something not there. Very interesting.”
Another wrote: “That’s a f***ing ghost man.”
Despite the uploader saying no windows were open, some still maintained it was caused by a gust of air.
“There could be one window open on one side of the house and another on the other side,” one sceptic said.
“Pressure wants to equalize and will shift the air taking the door along with it. I’m not discounting you just offering a possible explanation.”
But some disputed the wind theory, pointing out how a flag on the wall seemed completely still throughout.
It comes weeks after a similar incident scared the living daylights out of a poor dog.
