Man City block Man Utd
Manchester City have all but stopped a potential future Manchester United transfer.
Brahim Diaz is reportedly leaving the club in a £15.5million move, joining Spanish giants Real Madrid.
It’s a deal that could reach up to £22m despite the fact that the 19-year-old could have left City on a free in the coming summer.
A clause of the deal is believed to be a reported 15 per cent sell on fee to City if Diaz moves on from the Bernabeu.
However it is claimed that that fee raises to 40 per cent if Real Madrid sell to Manchester United.
It’s suggested that the large addition would all but stop a sale to Manchester United with Real unlikely to want to part with such a big percentage.

Celtic close to adding Timothy Weah
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is close to adding Timothy Weah to his squad this month following the addition of Oliver Burke.
But the Hoops have taken a risk in their pursuit of Vakoun Issouf Bayo while moves for Timothy Castagne and Nicolas Isimat-Mirin are not expected – as it stands.
That’s the Parkhead transfer round-up according the Daily Record.
In response to Rangers’ fast start in January, Rodgers sealed his first arrival with the capture of Burke on loan from West Brom until the end of the season.
The former Nottingham Forest wide-man is the most expensive Scottish player of all time at £15million but has struggled for game-time with the Baggies since his return to England from RB Leipzig in Germany’s Bundesliga.
Arsenal close to Denis Suarez deal
Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.
Emery is short of funds to spend in the transfer window due to a rising wage bill and poor player sales in recent years.
But transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Arsenal lead the race for Suarez and are ready to close out a deal.
The arrival of Suarez could see Aaron Ramsey depart this month amid interest from Juventus.
Transfer news LIVE updates: Chelsea have made a bid for Nicolo Barella
Chelsea make Nicolo Barella bid
Chelsea have reportedly made a huge bid for Cagliari star Nicolo Barella.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is on the hunt for a new midfielder with Cesc Fabregas set to depart this month.
The Spaniard has been strongly linked with Monaco where he would team up with former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry.
And reports in Italy suggest Chelsea have already made a 50million euros (£45million) for Barella.
Kalidou Koulibaly to Man Utd latest
Manchester United are prepared to bide their time before making a move for No 1 centre-back target Kalidou Koulibaly, it has been claimed.
Manchester United have been tipped to splash out in January on a new centre-back who can have a similar impact to Virgil van Dijk’s at Liverpool.
And a potential deal for Koulibaly has been talked up thanks to his rock-solid performances under Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli.
The Evening Standard have now claimed Koulibaly remains United’s first-choice to shore up their defence having initially been earmarked last summer.
However, Ed Woodward and co are said to be happy to wait until the end of the current campaign before relaunching a bid for Koulibaly.

Arsenal could hijack Franck Kessie
Arsenal have emerged as a contender for Chelsea transfer target Franck Kessie, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web indicate Arsenal are now in the running to prise Kessie away from AC Milan at the end of the season.
Kessie has forged a reputation as one of the most promising midfielders plying their trade in Serie A over the past few years.
But Milan may be forced to cut ties with him in the summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League and are hit with Financial Fair Play (FFP) sanctions.
And while that is good news for Arsenal, Chelsea might be left ruing not tying up an agreement for the Kessie earlier.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, Kessie is one of Maurizio Sarri’s targets with the 2019/20 campaign in mind.
