Kamberi said: “I am very excited. Ever since I came to Scotland it has been a dream for me to move to Rangers and it has happened today, so I am a very, very happy man.

“For me, Ibrox is the best atmosphere I have ever played in. My second game for Hibs was against Rangers at Ibrox and after the game, I told my agent immediately my dream would be to play in this stadium in front of these fans as they are the best fans in the world – the support is massive.”

Steven Gerrard commented: “We’re happy to have concluded the deal for Florian and we welcome him to Rangers.

The centre-back will provide cover for Jonny Evans and Caspar Soyuncu.

Bennett said: “It’s great to be here. It’s a massive club and the league table doesn’t lie. The manager has taken the team to another level and the players deserve great credit too. The Club is moving in a forward direction and it’s really good to be part of it.

Odion Ighalo wages

Ighalo initially joined CSL club Changchun Yatai from Watford on a deal worth £190,000 a week.

The striker then reportedly received a pay rise after making the switch to Shanghai, with a close source claiming he earns £200,000 a week.

However, the Daily Mail state the player pockets £300,000 a week in his current post and United are trying to pay a third of that fee.

United would likely pay between £2m and £4m for the six-month loan deal.

Aston Villa signing close

Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Borja Baston with the striker undergoing his medical. Sky Sports claim the paperwork is completed ahead of the striker’s move from Swansea to Villa Park.

The 27-year-old is undergoing his medical ahead of his move before the 11pm deadline.

Villa will sign Baston on a free transfer, with the midlands club paying his current Swansea contract up until the end of the season.

Dean Smith wanted a new striker heading into the January window following Wesley’s season-ending injury.

Villa signed Mbwana Samatta, however, they wanted another forward to provide competition for places.

Baston, who has scored six times in 20 Championship appearances this season, fits the bill for the Villans.

Reason behind Jarrod Bowen delay

Jarrod Bowen to West Ham is being delayed due to issues over personal terms.

Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol said: “A few hours ago the deal was being hold up by personal terms, particular his wages. West Ham are willing to pay him £80,000 per-week but they wanted a clause of his wages being halved if they were relegated.

“Obviously his agent didn’t want that clause – I’m not sure what’s happened with that clause but what I’m being told is the player is on his way to the London Stadium to meet David Moyes that would suggest the deal is almost done.”

Man Utd open Odion Ighalo talks

Manchester United have opened talks to sign Odion Ighalo before tonight’s transfer deadline.

Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth said: “A different source has told me Ighalo is in talks with Manchester United and the original source said the chance of the deal being completed in time is 50-50.

“It’s now a race against time with less than four hours to go.

“Ighalo is in China, pre-season training with Shanghai. There are doubts about when the Chinese Super League start and the club will be looking to offset some of his wages through a loan move to example, Manchester United.”

Frank Lampard ‘very frustrated’ with Chelsea window

Frank Lampard is “very frustrated” that Chelsea will likely end the January transfer window without any new signings.

The Blues have been linked with a host of names this month with Edinson Cavani and Dries Mertens among the main targets.

“Many of the names they’re looking for long-term are not available in January,” The Athletic writer Liam Twomey said.

“The likes of Jadon Sancho or Timo Werner. You’re looking really at short-term fixes.

“Lampard admitted a week ago that Chelsea are looking at this as a short-term window.

“The only strikers really available are Edinson Cavani, who wants to leave PSG, or maybe Dries Mertens, who has emerged as a possibility in the last couple of days.

“Having looked at the finances of those deals, Chelsea have concluded that neither are feasible. Lampard is a very frustrated manager at the moment.

“But it’s difficult to know at this point whether his frustration is centring around the particular name Chelsea failed to bring in or the broader frustration with this market.”

Man Utd sent Bruno Fernandes warning

Jamie Redknapp has fired Manchester United a warning after they finally completed the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

“What you have to remember is, right now United have an amazing record of making good players turn into bad ones,” he told Sky Sports.

“They’ve got to look after this guy because he’s a super player. But the players they’re signing have got to perform better and they have to find a way of getting the best out of these players.

“I don’t subscribe to this theory they keep signing bad players, they’re just not working correctly with these players and they need to create an environment where these players know if they’re not doing well enough and not just be able to turn it on when they want.

“And that sometimes comes down to the manager.”

Aston Villa striker signing close

Aston Villa are closing in on the signing of Borja Baston from Swansea to help solve their striker crisis.

The Daily Telegraph claim the forward is expected to agree a short-term deal and move to the Premier League outfit.

Villa are short of options in attack after Wesley suffered a season-ending injury.

Dean Smith did bring in Mbwana Samatta but was determined to add another striker to help fight for Premier League survival.

Emre Can to Dortmund done

Emre Can has completed his move to Borussia Dortmund.

The Germany midfielder struggled to get game time at Juventus under Maurizio Sarri this season.

Dortmund beat Manchester United to the former Liverpool ace.

“I am convinced that I can help them and can’t wait to play in front of these fans for whom Borussia Dortmund is known all over the world for the first time.”

Rangers deal unlikely

Rangers are “unlikely” to sign Matej Vydra before the transfer deadline closes because Burnley first want to find a replacement.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to bring in a forward following Jermaine Defoe’s calf injury, which could keep the former England international sidelined for five weeks.

Vydra emerged as an attainable target for the Glasgow club, who moved early on deadline day to strike a deal.

Rangers have agreed a fee with Burnley but the transfer now looks in danger of collapsing.

According to The Athletic, Gers are now unlikely to sign the 27-year-old before the window shuts at midnight in Scotland.

That is because Burnley want to sign a replacement up front before they allow Vydra to leave.

Josh King/Odion Ighalo

Manchester United are still trying to sign a striker as the minutes tick down to tonight’s 11pm deadline.

And according to The Athletic reporter David Ornstein, ex-Watford forward Odion Ighalo is the most likely arrival.

Ornstein tweeted: “Man Utd preference on Josh King was always a loan and although a permanent deal was discussed no agreement could be reached. A striker into #MUFC on loan is still possible & sources suggest that could well be ex-Watford forward Odion Ighalo.”

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has claimed he had spoken with Ighalo’s agent, who told him that Ighalo is currently undergoing pre-season training camp with Shanghai Shenhua.

Maya Yoshida to Sampdoria

Maya Yoshida looks set to leave Southampton and join Sampdoria.

The 31-year-old moved to St Mary’s from Dutch side VVV Venlo shortly after their promotion to the Premier League in 2012.

It is understood Serie A side Sampdoria have made a late move for the centre-back, who is out of contract at the end of the campaign.

The loan until the end of the season would be worth around £3million to Saints and end the possibility of Kevin Danso cutting his loan short.

Manager Derek McInnes told the club’s website: “He’s a young player, but he’s already got 15 caps for Venezuela. He’s played against the likes of Argentina with Messi and their stars and he’s done enough over the last couple of seasons to suggest that he’s going the right way.”

Jamie Carragher on Joshua King

“It’s not something you’d associate with Manchester United,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “But I think Joshua King has a history at the club as a young player. I think he knows Ole Gunnar Solskjaer well and I know Gary Neville has spoken very highly of him and his abilities and maybe he should have gone on and done more at Manchester United when he was younger.

“Maybe there were different parts of his game that weren’t up to scratch and maybe with Ole knowing he so well, he feels he can tap into that. I don’t feel like he’s bringing him in to try to be the No 1 striker at United, maybe just to help them through to the end of the season or 18 months and maybe in the summer, they’ll go for that real big striker.”

Dimitar Berbatov says spend!

Manchester United legend Dimitar Berbatov is delighted to see Bruno Fernandes finally sign for the club.

But has told manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he still needs to recruit a striker.

Berbatov told Betfair: “It’s a big signing and United have paid a lot of money for Bruno Fernandes and I hope he will give the team a boost, but to rely on just one man to turn things around is going to make things difficult, I would like to be proven wrong and of course I want him to do well but it’s foolish just to rely on him.

“I hope other big names see this signing and think that they was to come to Old Trafford too because like I said just signing one player is a good first step but they need a couple more.”

Victor Wanyama no-go

Celtic are not trying to re-sign former player Victor Wanyama from Tottenham.

The club were reportedly in deadline day talks over the midfielder’s future, but the Hoops have now denied their interest in the Spurs star.

Neil Lennon was quoted a transfer fee of at least £10million for the Kenya international by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

But, with just 18 months left on his current contract, Celtic weren’t prepared to meet that valuation.

Edinson Cavani will remain at PSG until at least the end of the season.

The 32-year-old, who has only six months left on his PSG contract, had been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea, but appeared to be heading for Spain with Atletico Madrid until the deal fell through.

PSG sports director Leonardo was quoted in L’Equipe: “We have reached an agreement with no one, he is available for the call (to play). We never thought of selling him. At one point we opened the negotiation, but there was no agreement.

“Six-and-a-half-years in a club, it will not be erased in two weeks of discussion. He is available (for PSG’s home game against Montpellier on Saturday).”

“I am always grateful for our fans’ support,” the former South Korea international said: “It was a great honour and happiness of mine to play for such a great club as Newcastle United.

Josh King pursuit KO

Manchester United have ended their pursuit of Bournemouth striker Josh King.

Sky Sports claimed that the two parties had an agreement in principal for the 28-year-old, providing the Cherries could find a replacement.

But BBC journalist Kris Temple says the Red Devils have contacted their Premier League rivals to say the move is off.

“#AFCB fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Club sources confirm to @solentsport that #MUFC have told the Cherries that their pursuit of Joshua King is over,” Temple tweeted.

All done – but maybe not

Jose Mourinho doesn’t think Tottenham will conduct any more business today – but refused to complete rule out any last-minute arrivals.

Gedson Fernandes (loan) and Steven Bergwijn have joined Jose Mourinho’s side during the window – but late links to Olivier Giroud and Gareth Bale have surfaced today.

“I am not expecting. The market is open so anything can happen but I’m not expecting,” he told reporters.

“I’m happy but the next question will be: ‘And a striker?’ I have to answer yes, it would be better with a striker. Yes, we would need a striker to have a better squad to face the great challenges in front of us in three different competitions.”

James Scott to Hull

Motherwell star James Scott is on his way to Hull for talks after the clubs agreed a fee.

The 19-year-old is set to move on in a deal which could be worth up to £1.5million after Hull increased their initial offer for the Scotland Under-21 international.

The forward, who has scored six goals and provided one assist in 28 appearances this season, is likely to fill the boots of West Ham-bound Jarrod Bowen.

3pm deadline day summary

Arsenal’s loan move for Southampton defender Cedric Soares marked the biggest early deal on a sluggish start to transfer deadline day.

The Gunners moved to bolster their rearguard with the 26-year-old, who has made over 100 appearances for the Saints since 2015.

Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Frank Lampard all ruled out any further activity before the window slams shut at 11pm.

And Real Madrid dismissed suggestions Gareth Bale could be set for a big-money return to Tottenham.

Lampard ruled out speculation that Olivier Giroud was set to leave Chelsea, possibly to make a shock move to London rivals Tottenham.

Lampard said: “Olivier Giroud in this window has been incredible as a professional and as a man. We know there has been interest… will he leave? No.”

Manchester United brought in Nathan Bishop from League One strugglers Southend, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also said he expected no further business.

However, rumours remained that United were set to step up their interest in Bournemouth striker Joshua King before the deadline.

Sheffield United made their fourth signing of the window as they brought in Dutchman Richairo Zivkovic on loan from Chinese club Changchun Yatai.

Leicester were due to seal a loan deal for Wolves defender Ryan Bennett, with the option of a permanent move.

Rangers completed the signing of Romania international Ianis Hagi on loan from Belgian champions Genk, with an “exclusive option” to make the deal permanent.

Josh King is not good enough to make the desired impact up front for Manchester United, says former England forward Eni Aluko.

“Rashford is out so Man United need that striker,” she said on Sky Sports News. “I watched King play earlier on this season against Crystal Palace and he was poor.

“Bournemouth have been poor this season, he’s only scored three goals. So I don’t know if Man United fans are sitting here today thinking ‘Is it the answer? Is he the solution?’.

PSG’s Edinson Cavani, Southampton’s Danny Ings, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua’s Odion Ighalo, Dalian Yifang’s Salomon Rondon, Norwich’s Teemu Pukki and Napoli’s Dries Mertens have all been backed to sign at Old Trafford over the course of the month.

But it looks like King could be the man.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has ruled out the prospect of any late transfer business.

The Premier League leaders are 19 points clear at the top of the standings and do not have any injury issues which need addressing, so Klopp is happy with the squad he has.

“Incoming: nothing. Outgoing: nothing I heard about, although that doesn’t mean nothing will happen,” he said.

Straight from the bosses mouth

Frank Lampard has admitted he expects Chelsea not to make any signings before the close of the transfer window.

The Chelsea boss now anticipates Olivier Giroud will stay at Stamford Bridge, and hailed the France striker’s “impeccable” conduct during a turbulent January window.

Scotching the chances of the Blues recruiting Napoli’s Dries Mertens or PSG’s Edinson Cavani, Lampard confirmed that means Giroud will stay at Chelsea.

Giroud had the chance to move to Tottenham or Inter Milan, but despite not moving Lampard insisted the 33-year-old still has a big role to play with the Blues this term.

Asked if Chelsea were close to recruiting Mertens from Napoli, Lampard said: “No. The window is probably 95 per cent shut for us. So the answer will probably be no to the players I’m guessing you’ll be asking about.”

Nathan Bishop signs

Nathan Bishop has completed his dream move from League One strugglers Southend to Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old came through the ranks at Roots Hall, where he has made 39 appearances since making his debut in December 2017.

United have completed the signing of England Under-20s international Bishop, who has signed a two-and-a-half year deal and will link up with the development squad.

Richairo Zivkovic

Sheffield United have signed Dutch striker Richairo Zivkovic on loan until the end of the season.

Zivkovic, 23, a former Holland Under-21 international, arrives from Chinese club Changchun Yatai, with the Blades having the option of making the deal permanent in the summer.

“People will recognise we do sometimes go left field with our signings, but we’ve worked very hard on this one, because we have had to,” manager Chris Wilder said. “We know enough about him, we’ve kept tabs on Richairo for a while and tracked his progress.

“He will give us genuine pace at the top of the pitch. We’re learning all the time this season, but pace in the Premier League is key and Richairo is someone we think can kick us on.”

Jacob Maddox to Southampton

Southampton are looking to sign Chelsea midfielder Jacob Maddox.

Football Insider claim Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have contacted Chelsea representatives to discuss a six-month loan deal.

Maddox, 21, returned to Stamford Bridge after his season-long loan to League Two Tranmere was prematurely cut short.

Maddox has been capped by England at Under-20 level and is thought to be eager on a switch to secure regular first-team football.

Manchester United contacted Norwich to discuss the availability of Teemu Pukki.

The Red Devils are hurriedly searching for a forward to provide cover from the injured Marcus Rashford.

Danny Ings interest

Manchester United decided not to pursue their interest further after having an approach for Danny Ings rejected by Southampton.

That’s according to the Telegraph, who also claim Southampton emphatically rebuffed the Red Devils’ approach for the 27-year-old.

Saints’ emphatic refusal to part company with Ings is said to have put United off from making a second approach for the former Liverpool man.

Solskjaer’s eagerness to sign a new striker has also seen him table an offer for Bournemouth’s Josh King, which was reportedly in the region of £27million.

Baggies technical director Luke Dowling told the club website: “Kamil is one of the most consistent players I have seen.

“He’s always a seven out of 10 guy who will give you a nine as well. He’s exactly the type of player we want to be adding at this stage and as soon as he heard of our interest, there was nowhere else he wanted to come.”

Josh King latest

Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth forward Josh King.

Yesterday, the Red Devils saw their opening £27million offer rejected by Eddie Howe’s side.

But there’s still hope.

And that’s because The Athletic claim the Cherries are still ‘actively’ looking for replacements.

Rangers target

Rangers will swoop for Livingston’s Lyndon Dykes if they fail in their pursuit of Hibernian’s Florian Kamberi, it has been claimed.

Hibs are open to letting the Albania international move to Ibrox and are currently in talks with their Scottish Premiership rivals.

Should those talks fail to bear fruit, Gerrard will turn his attention to acquiring the services of Dykes.

The Scottish Sun claim the Liverpool legend has been keeping tabs on the Livi striker and could be ‘tempted’ to table an offer for him in the coming hours.

Newcastle club-record bid

Newcastle submitted a club-record bid last week, Steve Bruce has revealed.

The Toon, who have already brought Nabil Bentaleb, Valentino Lazaro and Danny Rose to St James’ Park, tried to dwarf the £40million paid for Joelinton last year.

“The bid was accepted but unfortunately the player wanted to stay where he was. He was our number one target,” Bruce said. “We were close to breaking the record again but couldn’t get it over the line.”

Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie thinks the player in question is Lille’s Boubakary Soumare.

“I’m fairly certain the midfielder Newcastle came close to signing was Lille’s Boboukary Soumare. They had a bid of around £35m accepted, but the player chose not to come. Newcastle & Steve Bruce unwilling to confirm this morning,” Downie tweeted.

Yannick Carrasco to Atletico

Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco will return to Atletico Madrid on loan until the end of this season, just under two years after leaving the club to move to China.

Newspapers Marca and AS said Carrasco, who scored for Atletico in the 2016 Champions League final against Real Madrid, has been drafted in by Diego Simeone’s side after their bid to land Edinson Cavani from Paris St Germain fell through.

Carrasco, 26, moved to Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang in February 2018 and has not played a competitive game since the championship finished on December 1 of last year.

Done Deal: Hagi signs

Rangers have confirmed the deadline day signing of Ianis Hagi on loan until the end of the season.

The Romania international had joined from Belgian club Genk in a deal which also gives Rangers an exclusive option to make the deal permanent.

Boss Steven Gerrard said in a statement: “We have been scouting him for some time and it was clear that he has the quality to help to make a difference to the team.”

Cedric to Arsenal

Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Southampton full-back Cedric Soares on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has made more than 100 appearances for the Saints since moving from Sporting Lisbon in 2015.

Gunners technical director Edu told his club’s official website: “He is another strong addition to our defensive unit who will provide our squad with quality.”

The Gunners will pay an initial loan fee of around £1million and cover his £65,000-a-week wages for the remainder of the campaign.

Josh King return

Manchester United are considering a second approach for Bournemouth forward Josh King, Sky Sports claim.

The Red Devils reportedly saw their opening £27million bid rejected by the Cherries – but another could be in the pipeline.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe refused to deny reports during his press conference on Friday morning.

”I’m not going to deny anything you’ve read but I don’t want to talk about it too much,” Howe said. “He is much valued and loved by us. He’s a massive part of our team, brings that unique pace and strength, coupled with technical ability and an eye for goal”

Gareth Bale to Tottenham

Tottenham have made a breakthrough in their audacious pursuit of Gareth Bale.

Bale, 30, swapped White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu in 2013 for a then world-record £85.3million transfer.

He’s since helped the Spanish side land the La Liga trophy and four Champions League titles – but he could soon return to the Premier League with Jose Mourinho.

The Times claim Spurs believe they have made a breakthrough in negotiations although no terms have been discussed with the player or club.

Matheus Fernandes medical

Barcelona are close to wrapping up a deal for Palmeiras midfielder Matheus Fernandes.

That’s according to Spanish newspaper AS, who claim the 21-year-old will become a Barcelona player ‘in the coming hours’.

It’s reported that the Brazilian will undergo his medical in the coming hours before sining a five-year contract.

Fernandes has already said his goodbyes to Palmeiras via Instagram ahead of his proposed £5.8million switch.

“I’d like to thank Palmeiras, a club that placed its faith in my potential and signed me last year. Thanks also to Botafogo for opening the way for me. I feel honoured to have worn shirts with such historical significance in Brazilian football,” he wrote on Instagram.

Fernandes will be loaned straight out to Real Valladolid.

Adolfo Gaich swoop

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is still working on signing a new striker to boost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attack.

And it’s been claimed that he’s reached out to San Lorenzo about signing Argentina international Adolfo Gaich before the transfer deadline.

It’s been claimed United have turned down PSG’s Edinson Cavani, Monaco’s Islam Slimani and Shanghai Shenhua’s Odion Ighalo.

And they’ve also had a bid for Bournemouth hitman Josh King turned down, with the player previously representing the club at youth level.

Now, Fox Sports Argentina say Woodward has picked up the phone to enquire about landing San Lorenzo hitman Gaich.

Yan Couto to Manchester City

Manchester City have won the race for Brazilian youngster Yan Couto, and will sign him in the coming hours.

Barcelona were in the race for the 17-year-old but have withdrawn their interest on the understanding he will join City, according to Sport.

City are said to have agreed a deal worth £12.5m (€15m), with £7.5m of that up front and the rest in bonuses and variable add ons.

The Under-17 ace has been dubbed the ‘new Dani Alves’ and is set to stay with Brazilian side Coritiba until the summer when he turns 18 in June.

Ianis Hagi set to sign

Rangers are set to wrap up the loan signing of Ianis Hagi from Genk.

Rangers will have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer. Hagi is the son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi.

Rangers could also land Florian Kamberi from Hibs in another loan deal.

Kamberi has told Hibs he wants to leave today. Greg Docherty could move the other way to Hibs for the rest of the season.

Islam Slimani latest

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard could bloody the noses of Manchester United and Tottenham by beating them to the punch in the fight for on-loan Monaco striker Islam Slimani.

The Algeria international has emerged as a late January transfer window option for the Blues in case Olivier Giroud heads for the Stamford Bridge exit door.

Giroud is desperate to leave Chelsea in order to get some much-needed minutes under his belt with his place in France’s Euro 2020 plans under threat.

Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web report Slimani is seen as a potential replacement for the in-demand forward, who’s been looked at by Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Tottenham and West Ham this month.

Inter are also in the hunt for Slimani, who is believed to have been offered to United and Tottenham as they seek to bolster their respective injury-depleted attacks.

Lionel Messi contract

Lionel Messi has made a decision on his future.

That’s according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who claim the Barcelona superstar wants to renew his contract on a yearly basis.

Messi, who has scored 622 goals in 710 appearances for the Catalan giants, is out of contract in June 2021.

The club’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu is confident the Argentine magician will remain at the Nou Camp for several years to come.

But It’s thought Messi will sign a new 12-month deal each season, similar to Andres Iniesta, enabling him to assess his physicality and mood each year.

Josh King rejected

Manchester United have failed in an attempt to sign Bournemouth striker Joshua King

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to sign a forward this month to help fill the hole left by Marcus Rashford, who is nursing a double stress fracture in his lower back.

King was seen as an ideal short-term replacement and United tabled a bid for the 28-year-old, according to the Telegraph.

But their approach was swiftly brushed aside by the Cherries, who find themselves in the thick of a relegation fight.

A source is quoted as saying that King was a deal “we thought we could get done but was met with resistance from Bournemouth”.

World class striker

Chelsea need to sign a “world class” striker before the end of the January transfer window, says ex-Crystal Palace star Clinton Morrison.

Chelsea are yet to make any new signings this month despite head coach Frank Lampard reiterating his desire to strengthen his strike-force.

But the pundit Morrison reckons a forward is a must to help lessen the burden on top-scorer Tammy Abraham.

“Yeah I think they have to do some business,” Morrison said on Sky Sports News. “Frank, he’s been talking about how he wants to do business.

“I think he wants to bring in a left-back, he might even be interested in bringing in a goalkeeper, but definitely a No 9. I think they need a world class No 9 to help Tammy Abraham.”

West Ham agreement

West Ham have struck a deal for Hull forward Jarrod Bowen.

Crystal Palace had looked the more likely to complete a deal for the talented forward, who has scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 32 appearances this season.

But The Athletic journalist David Ornstein says David Moyes’ side have agreed a deal for the 23-year-old and that a medical will take place later today.

He tweeted: “Hearing West Ham have agreed a £22m deal (£14m + £8m add-ons) to sign Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen. Crystal Palace seemed to be leading the chase but understand 23yo’s preference is #WHUFC & scheduled to have medical ~lunchtime.”

Paul Pogba sale

Manchester United are considering a cut-price deal for Paul Pogba.

That’s according to The Sun, who suggest Ed Woodward and co. will drop their valuation of the French international.

Juventus and Real Madrid were expected to challenge for the midfielder, but United’s £150million valuation prevented them from doing business.

Now, the arrival of Bruno Fernandes could trigger Pogba’s departure at the end of the season and there’s ‘no doubt’ he’ll be available for much less than the original asking price.
