A TGI Fridays diner was left aghast after being told their “excellent” waitress had been sacked for “sh*tting in the Jack Daniel’s sauce”.
The customer had been left so impressed by Susie, who works at The Cornerhouse, Nottingham, branch, that they decided to let the American themed restaurant chain’s hierarchy know on Facebook.
But they got a bit of a surprise when the company’s ‘customer support’ team replied to say Susie had in fact since been let go for fouling in their famous JD sauce – and not for the first time.
Thankfully for Susie and Nottingham-based lovers of the JD sauce, it was merely a prank.
The post was written by a mischief maker who goes by the name of The Amazing Troll-Man.
Also known as Wesley Metcalfe, his modus operandi involves changing his name to ‘Customer Support’ and his profile picture to the logo of whichever company he’s masquerading as at that time.
He then responds to complaints and, on rare occasions such as this one, praise, purely for a laugh.
The bogus TGI post, was written some months ago in response to a post which read: “Would just like to say a big thank you to Susie who served us at TGI Fridays Cornerhouse Nottingham last night.
“She couldn’t do enough for us and was excellent with the kids. She deserves a big pat on the back. the Jack Daniels [sic] sauce was also as delicious as ever.”
The naughty reply said: “I’m afraid we had to let Susie go, we caught her s*itting in the JD sauce again! If she shows up to her disciplinary we’ll be sure to pass it on.
“Thanks for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon.”
The customer bit back: “I don’t understand as a company why you’d say that even if it was true.? Please tell me this is some sort of wind up?”
“Unlike Susie, I s*it you not,” replied the Troll-Man.
