A pastor has been “haunted” after his home security camera captured a mysterious orb floating around his home for hours.

Police chaplain pastor Monzell Ford said he was alerted by a notification sent from the security system which detected a movement in his living room at home in Florida, US.

In strange footage shared by ABC 7, a large ring-like orb appears to be emerging from a ceiling lamp shade and descending into the room.

The orb is seen moving from above the sofa to the office desk area.

Pastor Ford told ABC7 that no one else was at home and confirmed that it was not a flashlight, and it was too big to be a dust particle.

He adds: “This orb, this imagery is hovering in my living room.

“But I went out there. I couldn’t physically see what I was looking at in the live feed. So now I’m like, ‘Whoa’.”

The mysterious object stays in his house for hours and at one point, it is seen splitting into several shapes as it explores around the room.

Pastor Ford recalled the moment and said: “That’s when I’m like, ‘Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Something’s going on here. Something’s going on here’.”

He also added that he has been haunted by some of the things he’s seen as police chaplain at the Daytona Beach Police station, but nothing has spooked him like this.

“If it’s physical I can stand it, I can challenge it, I can approach it, I can deal with it,” the pastor commented.

“We’re talking about things floating and disappearing.

“If I know what something is, I’m okay, but it’s the unknown thing that throws me off.
