FTSE LIVE: Inflation falls to 2.4%; Asos still in fashion as sales delight investors; Housebuilder Crest Nicholson warns of lower profits; Flybe shares crash on profit warning

Online fashion retailer Asos has reported its third consecutive year of double-digit sales and profit growth, overcoming the cost of ongoing investment. The news sent its shares up 14 per cent, helping to stem some of the decay of recent months.

Meanwhile, regional airline Flybe has warned over full-year profits as it battles against rising fuel costs and the impact of a weaker pound, triggering a sharp decline in its share price.
