A delivery driver has spoken of his amazement at a mysterious object he says is a “UFO” he has been filming above his home every night this week.
Jason Jennings, 49, has lived in Kingswood, Bristol, all his life and has never seen anything like what he’s been filming recently, Bristol Live reports.
A part-time delivery driver and singer-songwriter, Jason said that he’s been filming the object for the past week and says it reminds him of a “jellyfish” and looks like a “ball of energy”, and not a standard space ship.
He said he’s very open-minded and has sent the footage to NASA and UFO expert and freelance journalist Nick Pope, who were all interested in the recordings, he said.
He said that it flies from “east to west” and is visible from the Kingswood area of Bristol and says that the flying pattern is not dissimilar to how someone would use a laser pen to play with a cat.
Jason said: “I’m just a little bit puzzled as to what it is. I’ve seen it every night since when the sky is clear enough.
“It was quite extraordinary, really, really strange.
“I know that we’re really intelligent as a species but I think that there are other species living in the lower and upper atmosphere.
“It has a structure to it, like something from a sci-fi movie.
“On the video, you can see when it turns into a ball it looks like smoke or energy.
“It is certainly really strange, first impression was I thought it was one of those jellyfishes, it’s like it’s playing almost, doing what it does naturally.”
When asked where he thought the object he’d been recording came from, he said: “I believe, I’m a really open-minded guy, I think there is a rational explanation.
“It’s hard to observe something up in the sky.
“It was twinkling and then it grows, it gets big at some points like a big sphere then it goes back down to a small shape again.”
